Gold Plating is a great way to get the look of gold without the price. Yes, gold-plated metals will fade faster than a piece made entirely of gold alloy. The gold itself doesn't tarnish, but the layer will wear away over time, exposing the base metal underneath, which in our jewelry is either aluminum or steel, neither of which will tarnish but will be shiny silver in color once the gold has worn away. We always recommend anything that is not solid gold to avoid liquids, perfumes and lotions. Our pieces will hold up to the elements of daily life, but remember they are NOT SOLID GOLD! If you maintain these care steps, your plated jewelry should stay shiny and gold for five years or more.
- Remove before swimming or exercising.
- Do not spray perfume on gold plated jewelry.
- Clean regularly with dish soap and warm water.
- Buff with a microfiber cloth regularly. NOT a polishing cloth as this will remove the plating.
- Keep in a plastic bag when not using, removing the excess air by squeezing it, and seal it. The lack of oxygen in the bag will help keep the gold plated jewelry bright and shiny.

Regular and Free shipping is sent by regular mail (Canada) and Tracked Packet (USA) and takes anywhere from 5 to 12 BUSINESS days (and this is not a guarantee as we have absolutely no control over US Customs.) If you want tracking in Canada or you want faster shipping within Canada or to the USA, please upgrade your shipping at check-out.
Free shipping for all other destinations is SURFACE (no tracking) and takes from 1 to 3 months. You can upgrade to faster shipping and tracking at checkout.

Most of our designs are made-to-order and therefore are a final sale at the time of purchase. If you’ve selected the wrong size or have some issue with your purchase, please contact us. In some cases we accept exchanges, but the cost of reshipping is due.
All designs are covered by our FOREVER GUARANTEE, which means free, basic repairs for the life of the design, for any breakage due to normal wear (doesn't include shipping). We encourage you to include your measurements at checkout for the best fit, in particular your bra size for apparel items.
